Description

The set break is currently sold out! The participants have until 12 PM CST 12/6/2014 to pay for their slots. If payment isn’t received by then, the unpaid slots will be considered surrended and sold to the next person on the waiting list. To sign up for the waiting list, simply fill out the contact form below.

Okay, so maybe you have done box/case breaks before where you buy a random slot or team and then someone busts up the case or box live online while you watch. This group set break is the same concept, but there is a guaranteed checklist of what will be included–an entire 1968 Topps complete set! That’s right, 598 slots are up for sale in this set break, so some lucky winner will get a Nolan Ryan RC, Johnny Bench RC, and a Mickey Mantle! Others will take home Hall of Fame players like Earnie Banks, Roberto Clemente, and Pete Rose. There are over 50 Hall of Fame members represented in this set (not counting the league leader cards), 1 in every 5 slots will receive a Hall of Famer! Every slot will receive a random card from the set, and the randomization will be broadcast live!

Condition Info:

Overall, the stars in this 1968 Topps Complete Set are mostly in the VG to VG-EX range, with a few exceptions. The rest of the cards are predominantly VG-EX to EX-MT. There are quite a few NM cards as well as some fillers. Many of the high numbers are in really nice shape. I have added scans of many of the stars, and I can add scans of a broader sampling of the cards if that is desired.

Mays (VG), Carew (VG-EX (ST)), Stargell (G), Aaron (G), Clemente (G/VG), Nolan Ryan RC (VG-EX), Killebrew (VG-EX–Printing off–looks like he has 4 eyes), Rose (VG), Bench (P-Front looks VG-EX but slight paper loss and marker on the back), Yastrzemski (NM-OC), Mantle (G/VG-creased), McCovey (VG), Maris (G-creased), Banks (VG-EX), Aaron AS (EX-MT), Clemente AS (VG-EX), Mazeroski (EX).

Rules:

1. Payments are to be made via PayPal, check, or money order once the break is completely full. Payment is due within one week after break is completely full. If payment is not received, your slots will be surrendered and resold. (Add the item to your card, choose checkout, and check payment if you want to wait and pay once the group break is full. You can still send payment via PayPal at a later date. You slot is not reserved until you click “Place Order”)
2. Each purchase is for one slot in the set break. You are guaranteed to receive a card from the 1968 Topps Complete Set for each slot you have.
3. The random drawing will be done live via online video (ustream.tv/channel/burlssports-com) and recorded for those who won’t be able to watch it live.

4. Once you purchase a slot on the listing, you agree to pay for the spot reserved.

Communication:

1. If you purchase a slot, you will receive an e-mail notification when the one-slot limit is lifted. After the limit is lifted, you may buy as many slots as are available.

2. Once the group set break is full, you will receive an e-mail notifying you to send your payment. After this e-mail notification is sent out, you will have one full week to submit payment. If payment is not received within that time-frame, you forfeit your slots and your slots will be resold. (Note: You can pay for your slots before the break is full if you desire.)

3. Once all slots are paid for, you will receive an e-mail detailing the broadcast information for the set break. If you are unable to view the break live, the video will be posted on this site for your viewing convenience.
